Good training is about good
communication.
At GoodDog! Training, we
offer positive, motivational training for you and your dog. Our focus is on
the basic commands (sit, down, come, stay, walk on leash) that are the
foundation for good behavior and for enhancing the special bond between you
and your dog. Are you dealing with
problem behaviors, like jumping up, excessive barking, digging, pulling on
leash, housetraining accidents, etc.? GoodDog! Training can help, with
effective, positive solutions.
We offer ongoing
group classes as well as private sessions.

Private classes
give you more scheduling flexibility and are a
good choice if you're working on a specific behavior issue or if you
think your dog would benefit from some pre-training before joining a
group class. For more information about private lessons, please

Group Class
Descriptions
Basic Obedience
Teach your dog everything s/he needs to know to be a good canine
citizen! In this six-week class, your dog will learn all the basic
commands, including sit, stay, down, and come. We'll work on canine
social graces too, like walking nicely on leash and polite (no jumping!)
greetings. And . . . we'll provide positive, effective training
solutions for housetraining, digging, nipping, and barking.
Fun and Games for Dogs
Teach your dog a trick--or several! It just might be the start of
his/her movie career. In this fun class, you'll learn how to teach your
dog a range of tricks from basic ("shake") to more advanced ("take a
bow"; "play the piano"). You can even teach your dog to put away his/her
toys! It's a four-week class, ideal for busy schedules. It's a
fun way to enhance your bond with your dog and to sharpen your training
skills.
Intermediate Dog Training
Take your dog’s
training to the next level! In this four-week Intermediate class, your
dog will improve and polish his or her foundation behaviors, and owners
will sharpen their training skills. We’ll work on canine good manners,
fun tricks, and training challenges. This class is excellent preparation
for the Canine Good Citizen test. Open to dogs who are current on their
shots and who have completed a basic-level obedience class.
